Gevorg Matinyan is a very talented young pianist whose soulful and expressive way of playing inspires the listener.
«From my experience, it's easy to be «seduced» by technology, but I do everything to ensure that it only serves the music and is not in the foreground» - says Gevorg.
At the age of ten he won the international competition XIII Munich Piano Podium for Young People. In 2018 he won first prize and Grand Prix at The Sixth International Junior Performance Competition «Where art is born» in Krasnodar, Russia.
In the past three years he has been awarded 2nd prize at the X «Maria Herrero» International Piano Competition in Granada, Spain, 3rd prize at the III International Music Competition in Paris and 3rd prize at the IX «Cesar Franck» International Piano Competition.
