The chamber music duo "Duo Empfindungen" is unique due to the instrumental combination of horn and piano. The heroic and warm sound of the horn meets the versatile sound world of the piano.
"Empfindungen'' stands for the various emotions and expressions that can be conveyed through music and can find a language without words. The name of the ensemble was inspired by Franz Strauss's romance, "Empfindungen am Meere."
The duo consists of hornist Stefano Brusini and pianist Barbara Brusini. Since 2020, the duo has participated in various concerts. These include the DAAD Prize Winner Concert, Siemens Art Program, private concerts, and numerous performances at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich (HMT Munich), where both successfully completed their studies.
Their shared repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Donizetti, Rossini, Schumann, Franz and Richard Strauss, Vignery, Glière, Seiber, Bozza, and many others.
